I'm Chief Technology Officer at Elanco Animal Health, where I define the strategic technical direction for the company — partnering with the Chief Information & Digital Officer, the IT Leadership Team, and the wider Executive Committee to make sure technology investment shows up as measurable commercial outcomes, not just delivery volume.
My focus is the intersection of engineering, architecture, and business strategy: enterprise AI governance, multi-cloud platforms (GCP, Azure), and keeping enough hands-on depth to unblock delivery when it stalls.
The project I'm best known for internally is ElancoGPT — a multi-model, multi-modal generative & agentic AI framework I helped build and scale from the ground up. It's now used by 12,000+ people (around 90% adoption across the workforce), with over 4,000 custom personas and agents built by employees themselves. It generated an estimated $7M return on investment and saved 140,000+ hours — built and run by a team of fewer than six engineers, for a fraction of the cost of equivalent off-the-shelf licensing. It won the 2026 US CIO 100 Award.
I joined Elanco in 2018 as it divested from Eli Lilly & Company, building its cloud, identity, and O365 environments from scratch within an 18-month window. From there: solutions architecture across the global IT organisation, revitalising the Solution Architecture Review Board, leading Elanco's SAP migration as architectural escalation point, and eventually Deputy CTO before stepping into the CTO role.
